What’s been happening:

I am currently serving in the Army at Balad, Iraq. This is also called Joint Base Balad. It is located about 2 hours north of Baghdad close to the Tigris River. I am looking forward to getting home to my family around October. Between the dust storms, sand storms and heat, it really isn't the most enjoyable place to be!
